All gathered on Highway 88 and Mt. Zion Road, Monday, October 9, 2006 at the site of

the proposed Amador Fire Protection District newest station.  The Pine Grove Council has undertaken the project of raising $100,000 for landscaping and environmentally correct

Green building additions.

Pine Grove Community Vision Statement:

"The vibrancy, health and quality of Pine Grove's future can be sustained through a balance of three fundamental considerations:  Natural Environment, Economy, and Social Needs."

 

GOALS FOR 2008

  • Participate in the General Plan Update by defining spheres of influence;
  • Work with the Amador County Recreation Agency on the 17-acre park to meet community needs;
  • Assist in developing a Pine Grove Public Safety Building (fire station);
  • Work with Caltrans and the County to install a crosswalk across Highway 88 at the Town Hall;
  • Assist ACTC with the Pine Grove Corridor Study (to bypass or not);
  • Work with the business community to install universal business signage;
  • Provide a venue for community forums; and
  • Assist residents in obtaining information from and voicing concerns to County departments.
